Renewing a Lapsed Registration
If your registration expires, here is how to get back on the roster.
Registration with Scouting America runs for one year. If it expires before it is renewed, your Scout (or you, if you are a registered leader) shows as lapsed and can drop off the Pack's roster. It happens to plenty of families, and it is easy to fix.
Please renew with your existing account
If you have registered with us before, you already have a my.scouting.org account. Renew through that account. Please do not start a brand new application, because that can create a second account for the same person and split their records in two. Duplicate accounts are hard to merge afterward.
What to do
1. Sign in at my.scouting.org with the account you already have. Forgot your login? Use the reset options on that page rather than creating a new account.
2. Renew from that account. The process is the same one you used to register.
3. Tell us when you are done. Send a quick note so we can confirm the renewal shows up on the Pack's roster.
Having trouble?
Reach out before you start over. If you cannot find your account, are not sure whether you have one, or the renewal does not go through, we will sort it out together. Email pack535.cubmaster@gmail.com.
Cost should never be the reason a Scout leaves the Pack. If dues are a hardship, say so and we will help.
